Stefan Treneski, best overall participant of the F4 CEZ Academy program, is set to make his racing debut in the F4 CEZ this weekend at the Slovakia Ring with Janík Motorsport team.

Two finalists of the F4 CEZ Academy, Stefan Treneski and Lukáš Houlík, completed their test sessions on Thursday at the Slovakia Ring, getting used to the car and learning to work with engineers and mechanics. It was a crucial final step for them, following their journey in the Academy since March alongside other participants.

Treneski tested the car in wet conditions and once again proved his professionalism. Throughout the F4 CEZ Academy program, he showed commitment to racing and his career, consistently ranking among the best in all disciplines. His confidence behind the wheel was evident not only during his very first F4 experience in the winter but also in Thursday’s proper test session, despite the challenges of a wet track.

Houlík, on the other hand, drove in dry conditions and made remarkable progress. With very limited racing experience, only a few outings in slalom events, he demonstrated speed, maturity, and steady improvement throughout the F4 CEZ Academy, earning his place in the final shootout.

Ultimately, there could only be one winner, and Treneski came out on top.

“Treneski has shown that he is naturally talented and well-prepared to step into actual F4 racing,” said F4 CEZ Academy organizer Josef Křenek. “Although his lap times in the wet were slower than Houlík’s in the dry, the test session was not about lap times but about the overall process. Still, hats off to Houlík, despite his limited experience, he managed to reach the final shootout. The F4 CEZ Academy has been a great opportunity for aspiring racing drivers, and this year’s edition was very successful. We are already preparing the next one.”
