The F4 Central European Zone Championship heads to Autodrom Brno for the fifth and penultimate round of the 2026 season, with the battle for the drivers’ title entering a crucial stage.

With two rounds remaining, the championship remains wide open. Jenzer Motorsport’s Elia Weiss arrives in Brno at the top of the standings with 229 points, just 14 clear of Maffi Racing’s David Walther. Teo Borenstein is another 10 points behind on 205, while Max Karhan sits fourth with 184 points, leaving the leading quartet covered by only 45 points.

Five different drivers have already tasted victory in F4 CEZ this season. Weiss has been the benchmark with six wins, including a hat-trick last time out at Autodrom Most. Walther and Borenstein have three victories apiece, Karhan has taken two, while Cram Motorsport’s Simon Rechenmacher claimed his maiden win at the Slovakia Ring.

Mathematically, the championship remains open all the way down to ninth-placed Francesco Pio Coppola. With a maximum of 75 points available to each driver per round and 150 still on offer across Brno and the Hungaroring finale, the nine drivers remains in contention. However, the four leading contenders Weiss, Walther, Borenstein and Karhan head to Brno as the clear favourites in the title fight.

The 2026 F4 CEZ champion will earn a test in the current-generation Eurocup-3 Dallara 326 single seater with one of the championship’s leading teams before the end of the year.

Brno is set to welcome another sizeable F4 CEZ field, with 36 cars currently listed on the provisional entry list. The size of the field means practice and qualifying will again be divided into two heats, with four race sessions scheduled across the weekend om 5,4 kilometres long Autodrom Brno.

The battle is also close in the Women’s Trophy. Jenzer Motorsport’s Ella Häkkinen leads the classification with 217 points, only seven points ahead of Mathilda Racing’s Mathilda Paatz. AS Motorsport’s Michalina Sabaj remains firmly in contention in third, 24 points behind Häkkinen.

In the Rookie classification, Jenzer Motorsport’s Markas Silkunas holds the advantage with 37 points clear of Rechenmacher. Jenzer also commands the Teams’ Championship with 614 points, ahead of Maffi Racing on 232 and Cram Motorsport on 200.

The fifth round of the season gets under way on Friday with two free-practice sessions at 10:45 and 11:35, followed by qualifying at 15:20 and 15:50. Racing begins on Saturday, with Race 1 starting at 09:35 and Race 2 at 14:25. Race 3 follows at 09:00 on Sunday, before the weekend concludes with the final race at 15:05.

All F4 CEZ races will be streamed live on the championship’s official YouTube channel.
