Italian team Harp Racing has announced its driver for the opening round of the F4 Central European Zone championship at the Red Bull Ring. The Formula 4 seat will be taken by Italo-Brazilian driver Filippo Fiorentino.

As already announced, Harp Racing is preparing for its debut F4 CEZ season with Piotr Wiktor Orcholski, who will join the championship from the Slovakia Ring round in June due to age restrictions. Therefore, Harp Racing and team principal Luca Capolongo had to find a short-term substitute, and it was announced that Filippo Fiorentino will step into the cockpit for the opening weekend.

“Filippo is someone we know very well, as he took his first steps in Formula 4 with us,” says Luca Capolongo. “We also shared an important experience together during the 2025 Formula 1 weekend in Brazil, where the local F4 series was on track and he achieved an outstanding two race wins and a second-place finish over the three races at Interlagos. We have remained in close contact since then, both professionally and personally, and selecting him as our first driver to launch our project has been a natural decision.”

The Red Bull Ring weekend will be a brief return to F4 for Fiorentino, as he is progressing up the single-seater ladder and will compete in the Eurocup-3 championship this season.

“Collaborating with Filippo, as an experienced Formula 4 driver, will give Harp the opportunity to confirm, against a proven benchmark, the effectiveness of the approach and the processes we have carried out so far,” continues Capolongo.

Filippo Fiorentino will race for Harp exclusively at the Red Bull Ring due to his commitments in Eurocup-3. Before Piotr Wiktor Orcholski takes the seat for the third round at the Slovakia Ring, there is still a weekend at Salzburgring. “Presently we are in advanced talks with a couple of other drivers to complete the line-up,” adds Capolongo.
