The successful Swiss racing team Jenzer Motorsport will continue competing in the F4 Central European Zone Championship this season. The team will field four cars for Max Karhan, Nicolas Cortes, Javier Herrera and Gino Trappa.
Jenzer Motorsport has won both the drivers‘ and teams‘ championships in the past two years, and the goal for this season remains much the same. The favorite is Max Karhan, a 17-year-old from Prague, Czech Republic, who is ready for his second season in the FIA F4 CEZ Championship. In 2024, during his first full season with Jenzer Motorsport, he secured an excellent third place overall. This year, Karhan has his sights set on winning the championship.
Nicolas Cortes, a 15-year-old from Jalisco, Mexico, is the youngest driver in the team in 2025. He began karting in his home country at the age of 11 and was crowned Mexican Kart Champion for the second time in his fourth season in 2024, remaining undefeated after six victories. After testing in Formula 4, Nicolas decided to make the switch from karting to formula cars in 2025 and will take on the FIA F4 CEZ Championship with Jenzer Motorsport in his rookie season.
Javier Herrera, a 16-year-old from Monterrey, Mexico, is also new to formula racing in 2025. He started karting in 2017 and achieved great success, first in his home country and later abroad—competing in the USA and then in major European series. In the second half of 2024, he began testing in Formula 4 and ultimately decided to make his debut in the FIA F4 CEZ Championship.
Gino Trappa, a 17-year-old from Buenos Aires, Argentina, already has one season of experience in the FIA F4 Brazilian Championship, where he finished fifth overall in 2024. Before that, he spent several years racing karts in Argentina. He has ambitious plans for 2025 – his main program will be the FIA F4 Spanish Championship, but he also plans to compete in the FIA F4 CEZ Championship.
