This November marks the launch of the third edition of a unique academy designed to support ambitious young drivers and help them take their first steps into the world of professional motorsport. The F4 CEZ Academy is open to participants from both the Czech Republic and abroad.

Talent alone is no longer enough. In motorsport, drivers need to master every skill expected of top-level athletes. Being a racing driver means precision behind the wheel, surgical accuracy through corners, understanding the car’s technical setup, knowing the theory, maintaining peak physical fitness, handling mental pressure and communicating effectively with the public.

These are the very foundations on which the F4 CEZ Academy is built. The program offers comprehensive preparation and a genuine opportunity to break into the racing world. Under the guidance of professional drivers, participants are tested across all key areas. Their progress is assessed throughout, with the very best earning the chance to step into the cockpit of a real race car.

“Previous years have shown we’re heading in the right direction,” says academy founder Josef Křenek. “Our goal is to give young people an easier path into motorsport. We want to provide a complete educational and sporting program that combines modern racing, professional training, and personal development.”

What’s new this year? An intensive program in November and racing opportunities throughout the 2026 season

The opening qualifying part of the F4 CEZ Academy takes place on November 8–10 in Prague and at the Autodrom Most. On the first day, participants will train and compete at the CMK karting arena in Prague. The schedule also includes physical conditioning, media training, mental coaching and simulator racing at RaceGear simulator.

For the following two days, the program moves to Autodrom Most. Alongside continued physical, media, and mental preparation, participants will spend time another time at Racefuelsimulators and also behind the wheel of a real race car. Driving a Renault Twingo, they’ll tackle a slalom course while learning both the theory and practice required to obtain a racing license.

But the academy doesn’t end with the third day and the closing ceremony. A major new feature this year is the extension of the program across the entire 2026 season. Participants will have the chance to compete in the F4 CEZ Academy Cup in Twingo race cars. From each of the four race weekends, the most successful driver will earn the chance to test a Formula 4 car and based on the outcame, the best from the group of four will secure race seat for one round of F4 CEZ championship in 2026.  The overall winner of the whole academy will have the opportunity to join the 2027 season under special discount conditions.

“The Twingo Cup is the ideal way to get hands-on experience with a real race car and the true atmosphere of major circuits,” explains Josef Křenek. “And even during the race weekends, the academy drivers will continue their full training program. Since you can race a Twingo from the age of 14 and step into Formula 4 at 15, it’s perfect for young drivers who want to prepare for the 2026 season.”

The event is organized by the F4 CEZ Academy Club under AČR, in cooperation with Racingfuel Simulators, RaceGear simulators, Lukamotorsport, Autoklub ČR, Autodrom Most, CMK Prague and Racing Journal magazine. Last year’s winner, Stefan Treneski, competed in the final two rounds of the F4 Central European Zone this season and will contest the full championship next year.
