The battle for the F4 Central European Zone Championship continues this weekend as the series heads to Slovakia Ring for the third round of the season.

There is no time to rest. Just one week after the Salzburgring event, the drivers and teams travel to Slovakia for another highly competitive race meeting from Friday to Sunday.

The opening rounds have already highlighted the main title contenders. The strong Jenzer Motorsport trio of Elia Weiss, Max Karhan and Teo Borenstein are being challenged by Maffi Racing’s David Walther. However, they also face stiff competition from Simon Rechenmacher from Cram Racing, who is consistently in the fight for podium finishes. So far, these five drivers have occupied all of the top three positions in the seven races held during the 2026 season.

However, the championship has not yet reached its halfway point, and there are 40 drivers on the entry list, all determined to achieve their best results in the coming races. One driver making his F4 CEZ debut this weekend is Piotr Orcholski, who celebrates his 15th birthday today (Happy birthday, Piotr!) Having now reached the minimum age requirement, he will be eligible to make his Formula 4 debut at Slovakia Ring.

Albert Pisarik will also return to action with Janík Motorsport after missing the Salzburgring round due to other sporting commitments. Roman Roubicek is set to return as well, competing with JMT Racing.

Once again, the field will be impressive, with 40 drivers entered. That makes F4 CEZ the series with the largest grid of the weekend at Slovakia Ring.

Friday’s schedule includes free practice and two qualifying sessions. Two races will take place on Saturday, with a further two races scheduled for Sunday.
