Automotodrom Brno will host the final round of the 2025 F4 Central European Zone Championship this weekend, September 6–7. Just like last year, the title will be decided in the last event and this time between teammates Gino Trappa and Max Karhan.
Trappa from Argentina and Karhan from the Czech Republic, both from Jenzer Motorsport, will be the center of attention for the fans, as they are the only contenders for this year’s championship. Trappa took the lead in the standings back in May and has stayed on top ever since. Both drivers have already taken victories this season and heading into Brno, Trappa leads Karhan by 35 points, which gives him a slightly more comfortable position. However with a maximum of 75 points still up for grabs over the weekend, nothing is decided yet and thats a promising thrilling finale to the 2025 season.
But the racing in Brno won’t only be about Trappa and Karhan. There are plenty of other drivers to watch.
Jenzer Motorsport will field five cars this time. Alongside regular drivers Trappa, Karhan, Javier Herrera and Nicolas Cortes, they are bringing in karting graduate Florentin Hattemer for his series debut.
Maffi Racing is also entering five cars with Teodor Borenstein, Andreas Lo Bue, Nikolaj Dyrved, Igor Polak and Slovakia Ring double winner Kirill Kutskov.
As in the previous round, there will be four female drivers on the grid. Season regulars Kiara Henni, Michalina Sabaj and Mathilda Paatz will once again be joined by F1 Academy driver Nicole Havrda, who will enjoy something of a home race thanks to her Czech roots. Havrda will race for JMT Racing alongside František Němec, who completes his full-season program in Brno. Renauer Motorsport is preparing two cars for its competitive duo Hady Mimassi and Simon Schranz. Another strong contender for top-five finishes is Zengő Motorsport’s Benett Gáspár.
Janík Motorsport will field two cars for David Gorčica and for Stefan Treneski, the F4 CEZ Academy programme winner, who made his Formula 4 debut at the previous round in Slovakia.
A grid of 20 Formula 4 cars promises spectacular racing. Not only in the championship battle, but also in the fight for race wins and for every last point to secure the best possible position in the final standings.
Qualifying for Race 1 begins on Friday at 17:10. Race 1 takes place on Saturday at 11:25, with the remaining two races scheduled for Sunday at 10:10 and 15:00.
