Slovakia Ring will host the penultimate round of the F4 Central European Zone this weekend. The fight for the title is entering its final stages, with teammates Gino Trappa and Max Karhan emerging as the main rivals for the championship.

The season is nearing its conclusion — only Slovakia Ring and Brno in September remain. That still means six races and plenty of points on offer. The gap between Jenzer Motorsport teammates Trappa and Karhan is 54 points, which may seem like a lot, but with 25 points for a win, Karhan still has a real chance to close in — or Trappa could even clinch the title already in Slovakia.

But F4 CEZ is not only about them. Jenzer Motorsport is fielding four cars, with Nicolas Cortes and Javier Herrera gaining speed with every race. Herrera won the previous race, which was not only his first victory but also his first-ever podium finish.

This time, however, Jenzer Motorsport will not be the team with the biggest presence. Maffi Racing is entering five Formula 4 single-seaters. Alongside their regular lineup of Andreas Lo Bue, Teo Borenstein and Nikolaj Dyrved, Igor Polák is set to make his debut, while 2024 championship runner-up Kirill Kutskov returns to the series.

Almost 20 cars will take to the grid at Slovakia Ring, four of them driven by female racers. Alongside Kiara Henni (Henni Performance), Michalina Sabaj (AS Motorsport), and Mathilda Paatz (Mathilda Racing), the F4 CEZ debut of Nicola Havrda will attract attention. A regular in the F1 Academy, Havrda will compete at Slovakia Ring with JMT Racing.

Her teammate will be František Němec, who has contested the full season. Zengő Motorsport once again enters Benett Gáspár, while Janík Motorsport continues with David Gorčica.

Renauer Motorsport from Austria brings its black-and-yellow cars for Hady Mimassi and Simon Schranz, who has finished in the top three at the last two events.

The battle for championship positions is heating up and every point now counts more than ever. The penultimate stage of the 2025 season at Slovakia Ring will feature three sprint races: the opener on Saturday at 11:05, followed by two on Sunday at 10:05 and 14:10.
