JMT Racing set to accelerate success in F4 CEZ with expanded lineup

The JMT Racing team from the Czech Republic is gearing up for another exciting season in the F4 CEZ Championship. Building on a foundation of success and experience, the team is expanding its ambitions by adding a second Tatuus F4-T421 car to its lineup.

Last season, drivers Jan Rieger and Roman Roubíček showcased their skills and determination under the JMT Racing banner. Their efforts have laid a solid groundwork for the team’s aspirations in the upcoming season. „We are preparing for the F4 CEZ Championship, where we will enter two Tatuus F4-T421 formula cars,“ said Tomáš Peleška, one of the team founders alongside Jiří Koldinský and Martin Vojtík. „Our car from last season has undergone thorough revisions over the winter and is primed for the challenges ahead.“

The team has confirmed that one of the cockpit seats will be filled by a promising Czech talent, bringing valuable experience in F4 racing despite being young. „Despite being young, he has enough F4 experience to compete for the top spots. We can look forward to the announcement of his name in the near future,“ Peleška said.

For the second car, the selection process is still underway, with several candidates from the Czech Republic and abroad in consideration. „The second F4 will be brand new and, unlike last season, it is already completed and prepared well in advance of the season. The selection process for the driver of this second car is still ongoing, so unfortunately, we cannot introduce him yet. There might also be a completely new candidate who will take the seat and participate in the season. JMT Racing opens its doors to everyone, including newcomers without experience,“ continued Peleška.

JMT Racing enters every race with victory in mind. The team’s expanded lineup opens up new strategic possibilities and enhances their data collection capabilities, essential for refining performance and tactics.

„The team, which typically includes about 10 members including a coach and a race engineer on race weekends, is experienced enough to offer comprehensive ‚arrive and drive‘ services. The team also focuses on a testing program and pre-race preparation, as this is very beneficial for the drivers,“ added Peleška.

The 2024 F4 CEZ Championship promises thrilling races across six rounds in four countries, kicking off at the Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary.
