F4 CEZ Academy members head to Balaton Park to race and assist

The opening round of the F4 CEZ Championship at Balaton Park is just around the corner. On the 27th and 28th of April, participants of the series will converge at this new Hungarian track, among them four members of the F4 CEZ Academy – Michelle Jandová, Marek Mičík, Martin Knápek, and Max Karhan.

Thanks to partnerships with Lukamotorsport, SAPE Motorsport, and Autoklub ČR, these academy members will participate in the inaugural event of the F4 CEZ Championship in 2024. Racing instructor from the F4 CEZ Academy Max Karhan will once again compete in the championship following a promising debut last year. Notably, he is one of the few drivers who have previously raced at the new Balaton Park Circuit during the last event of the 2023 season.

Marek Mičík and Michelle Jandová will be on their way to Hungary for their first F4 racing experience. Having finished second and third, respectively, in the F4 CEZ Academy, they plan to utilize their newly acquired skills to take another significant step forward in their racing careers.

Academy champion Martin Knápek will undertake a dual role at the event, combining driving duties with assisting in the media organization. Knápek emerged victorious in the race simulator competition within the F4 Academy, which earned him a spot in the practice season of the Twingo Cup at Balaton Park. Thus, he, too, will be bringing his racing suit to Hungary. However expect seeing him in F4 competitions soon.
